Holiday Party Makeup...
Can you ever take a good selfie? Well I can't. I guess I put to much effort in it, but I wanted to show you my favorite holiday makeup products from my favorite beauty store, Sephora. I love playing with different eye shadows, it's so fun! I usually don't do much glam for everyday bases. Follow along to see how I get holiday party ready in 7 steps...
Step One; Foundation/CC cream
The reason I put CC cream on here is because I am not really a foundation kinda gal. What? Y'all are probably saying. I know, I know. I really love a light to medium coverage. For big events I will use mineral powder foundation, which I really love. I will link it here. My favorite CC cream is this Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream.I am shade very light because I am super fair. It even has a good daily dose of SPF. It is moisturizing and very comfortable to wear. I use this brush and it works great. Sometimes I use my beauty blender if it is clean. I always go in with a powder all over after applying CC cream. I use this one.
Step Two: bronzing and highlighting
I never really contour, I just bronze. I use this Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette for everything and I use the pallete color 'naked'. First I apply the bronzer to my cheeks, jawline, and forehead temples. I usually do not wear bronzer everyday, just blush. I use the blush brush in the kit. The key to contouring are bronzing is to BLEND really well. For highlighting I use the highlighting shade in the Naked Flushed Palette but my favorite is the Becca highlighter in Opal. I brush it on my cheekbones, chin, and forehead to really look glowing from within. Lol!
Step Three: Blush
I love blush! It is my favorite part of the whole look. It really pulls everything together, that and lipgloss are the key. I apply a Chanel Blush called 25 In Love-Irreelle Blush that is discontinued...very sadly. It is beautiful blush. Another one I love is from Clinique and called Blushing Blush Powder Blush in "Iced Lotus". It is perfect for us fair girls.
Step Four: Brows
I really just let my brows go natural cause they are so crazy. I always brush them with a eyebrow brush like this one. I have really been wanting to try the Anastasia Brow Wiz pencil. I have heard amazing reviews. I tried the Benefit Gimme Brow and I really liked how it tamed your brows.
Step Six: Mascara
I think mascara makes the most difference and is so fun to apply. Sometimes I apply a mascara primer first, like this one. It works wonders! I use Better Than Sex Too Faced Mascara. I have tried so many mascara from drugstore to high end and this one in my opinion is the absolute best! It helps thicken, volumize, and elongate your lashes.I don't wear fake eyelashes but - it's the mascara that changes everything.
Step Seven: Lips
I love a bright lip and a simple look but I also love a bright lip with a dramatic look. My all time favorite red lipstick is the Maybelline Vivids Lipstick in On Fire Red. My favorite neutral gloss is the Bobbi Brown Lip Gloss in Nude. It is a perfect neutral sheer lip gloss. It really depends on the day which the lip that I wear. I also like
If you have any questions about the makeup, let me know in the comments. Thanks for stopping by:) What are y'all's plans for NYE? I plan on going out and doing some fun fireworks. That has always been my favorite part. LOL! I'm still a kid at heart.

Step Five: Eyeshadow
Oh my favorite part of the whole routine! I love you can just play and come up with something do amazing. My all time favorite palettes are the Naked Original and the Naked 2 palette. They are just the best and are really pigmented. They have so many different colors and are just so fun to work with. I change up my eye look day to day but, the one I have really been liking is using the eyeshadows in the Naked 2 palette called Tease, Bootycall, Suspect, and Snakebite. I blend Tease all in my crease and apply Snakebite into the outer corner of my eye. Then, apply Suspect all over my lid to give it some shimmer and lastly apply Bootycall on my brow bone and inner corner of my eye. If I want to go for a natural eye look, I will use the Too Faced Natural Eye eyeshadow kit. It is awesome.Step Six: Mascara
